Kiva, a character in the old animated series, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, is not mine.
Lineart created by =Lurker89 Done on GIMP as taught by *EspeonStar Idea to color and act of coloring performed by myself, with pointers from *EspeonStar. So yeah. This is one of the infinitely many colored versions of [link] <-- this lineart. I made it look like Kiva, a wolf who only appears in Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm as Nightwolf's companion. I'm kinda proud of myself on this one. Mikomi taught me to use GIMP, yay~ You can expect more colored stuff in the future~! It looks great from a distance, but... up close, one can kinda tell that there's something about the light shine on his head that looks... off. (Well, maybe you can tell.) This was my fault; I attempted to shade/highlight on the wrong part of the layer.  But yeah. I'm happy.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. Well, actually, I could do the lineart (hard part) and send the file to her and she could do the base coloring. Then she could send it back and let me finish up with the shades.
Heck, I could even teach you my base color method and you could do the base colors. Do a big part in your own pics.

I'm always open to new things, and it'd be an honor to be able to help you with your pics. The "Do a big part in your own pics" part reaaaaaally has me interested. Maybe helping out would help balance out the eventual spam of requests that may end up coming.
